How come every fan of steroids on this site says all athletes juice?  They are trying to justify their recreational use to have a physique to impress the clueless. The rationalization is that all competing athletes juice so they can fantasize that they are athletes too when nothing could be further from the truth.

I don't follow many pro sports. I'd be surprised if many NHL players juice. Major league soccer maybe a little bit more. Football,  baseball and basketball probably have a high percentage of their top performers juicing.

Now boxing is a sport I follow. And while not every boxer juices, every boxer at tge highest level of the sport probably most champions (of the 16 divisions and 4 belt era so approx 60 champions at any mo.ent) and everyone in the top 20 lb for lb absolutely do at a minimum.

Because some of us competed in sports/athletics at a high level and saw these things with our own eyes. Or did them ourselves.

It's basic human understanding that the majority of people seeking accomplishment will push the limits to get a medal/money.

Not that hard to get passed drug testing and/or bypass the system. I know people who did it at a high level.

Most competitive athletes are on some sort of PED.

It's worse today with the social media influencer outrage.

Most people you see who are famous are on PED's or have had many surgeries to look/perform a certain way.

It's human nature.

It doesnt make sense that an athlete trying to win a Gold medal wouldnt do everything possible to make that happen.

They would convince themselves that drugs are in no way cheating and that everyone else does it.

You look at some athletes in sports and say, nah, they dont look like a drug users then they get on a bike and totally dominate the tracks winning multiple gold medals

This girl for example

Quote
Dame Laura Rebecca Kenny, Lady Kenny, DBE (née Trott; born 24 April 1992) is an English track and road cyclist. She has won six Olympic medals and is both the most successful female cyclist, and the most successful British female athlete, in Olympic history.

Aalso if an athlete is regularly coming runner up and just falling short of their dream you really think taking a few shots or tablets is out of the question to them?

44% is a lowball estimate for sure.
The non physical sports skew the results. Archers don't need enhancement.

Archery is very physical

you better avoid it then, tearing a bicep squatting and tearing a pec on a car door tells me you are not at all robust.
