The energy boost is more of a mental stimulant than a physical stimulant. It allows for better stamina imo. It works really well for weight lifting.
I attribute the energy boost to its pain killing effects. Its not so much a 'high' but it really lessens joint aches and pains which makes anything more enjoyable, suddenly you're working your ass off like you're 20 years old again and the day has flown by. You'll do 4 hours of work and it'll feel like 20 or 30 minutes.
Yea it's not a stimulant in the usual sense. Many take it to sleep.
Regarding it making you high, I hadn't taken it for a year or two when I ordered it again. Didn't think it was all that fantastic so I decided to try a much higher dosage immediately. So I think I took like 13 grams with a couple of other things I often use anyway. And it was
quite euphoric and I was impressed. Problem with excessive euphoria is that it can totally fuck up your workou IME. I think you need a certain amount of anxiety to perform your best. If I took a high dose of Tramadol before a workout, for me maybe 200mg, which I tried 2-3 years ago, I was feeling
too good to workout optimally.
The mechanisms behind the pain killing effects of opiates and opioids are interesting. You may still feel the pain but the perception of it changes. Some studies indicate a simple Tylenol or Ibuprofen is better at reducing certain kinds of pain but they are no substitute for opioids in many situations.
If I were in the US like you guys I would simply buy the pure 7-OH (mitragynine) which is illegal to put in supps which they do anyway of course. But the authorities are coming down hard on it just now so I'm unsure of the availability but it's bound to disappear soon.
"CNN: Federal officials promised on Tuesday to crack down on a potent semisynthetic opioid found in convenience store gummies, drinks and dietary supplements by putting the substance in the most restricted class of drugs.
Makary said the FDA is recommending that 7-OH be listed as Schedule I, the most restrictive class of controlled substances."It's supposedly 13 times more pain killing than morphine. Of course beware of becoming a total junky which is a real risk. One IFBB pro on professionalmuscle says he uses 7-OH occasionally but claims he can't become addicted, he doesn't have that personality, I think it's true some have a harder time becoming psychologically addicted to anything, though of course if they are exposed too long the physical addiction will come, see patients treated for legitimate issues.
