  The thing with kurt russell was one of the best horror movies ever. which the taking of pelham 1, 2, 3 is  your favorite of the three movies.    The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974): The original theatrical film, directed by Joseph Sargent and starring Walter Matthau and Robert Shaw.

If you haven't, you need to watch the 1st season of Fargo.  Billy Bob is amazing.  He plays "Lorne Malvo".  Search Lorne Malvo on youtube.  His highlights alone are worth a watch.  Right now, I believe it is on Hulu.
