This movie should have never been made. No one wanted another Mortal Kombat and no one has been asking for a new version. What a waste of money. And these poor actors. I hope they're living on Planet Earth and understand that they are nobodies. I had forgotten this film was even being made. Everyone that grew up with Mortal Kombat has moved on. Never heard of any of these actors except Martyn. Even he is a nobody that will never be a somebody. This film is not going to be the catalyst to the start of an exciting and successful film career for him. He got lucky by crossing paths with Rich Piana. He's still somewhat relevant because of his past work with Piana and how unusual he looks. I hope he has a day job like at a scrap yard, welding shop, or auto body shop.

Now that you mentioned it I just realized he did play McCoy in Star Trek.

It's the Street Fighter reboot that has the WWE wrestlers.

The first MK movie was clearly popular enough for them to order a sequel. The movies and reboots are mostly aimed at fans of the game

And Hiroyuki Sanada who plays scorpion. He’s in lots of movies, the last samurai, rush hour 3, bullet train, 47 ronin, shogun tv series, John Wick

And Don´t forget "NINJA In THE DRAGONS DEN" from 1982! Classic!

Sanada at his finest!

1:14 Hiroyuki Sanada VS Conan Lee
