Plastic or Vinyl jacket while doing Cardio.

What is the purpose of this?  I know it makes you sweat alot more and I guess its good if you retain water, but does it have any fat burning effects?  I see alot of people wearing them lately.

i'ts pretty much just to help you drop alot of water weight fast through sweating...



but you'll feel like crap afterwards..way too much sodium lost along with water.....and as soon as you start taking in fluids again you balloon back up..so unless you're weighing in that day for something i'd stay away from it.

Immenently uncomfortable and gross, no real benefit except to mislead you based on water loss.

not only do you hafta worry about dehydration issues...but also muscle cramping, spasms, heat exhaustion (BIG PROBLEM ALONG WITH STROKE) and other complications...not really smart even fi you're in top shape...

because youre sodium/potassium balance is WAY off...there could be major issues involved with this...for those that don't have any medical back ground i'm not gonna go into it..but those that do know what i'm talking about.

i used to use a garbage bag if i needed to cut weight fast before a weigh in for a boxing fight. Be careful tho i actually heard of a jogger a couple years back that was wearing one and collapsed while running and died.

Go rubber,...& always wear a condom! ;).
Seriously, just a trick to lose water weight.After a few hrs. of regular water intake the body will have "gained" back the loss.
