That pic of Mike is not photo shopped.Mike listen you have 2 things that 90% of the jokers on this board will never have.#1 A very nice looking woman, who loves you and you dont have to pay to screw, the only way most of the guys on this board would get a hot chc is if they paid her, lol# 2 a physique, that is big and looks good. You guys can bash Mike all you want, but have you ever stepped on a stage and have a bodybuilding trophy. So there bitterness toward you is out of jeliously and frustration.Mike best of luck to you and Cheri, and I hope life is great to you both.P.S. Mike you need to put a ring on Cheris finger, soon !!!!
The picture in the shower IS Photoshopped.Mike/The editor of the "morpher" of the pictured used PhotoShop 7.0The second picture is REAL.Both pictures taken by a Canon PowerShot A510.
This is so classic. The two board mental giants agreeing that they are on par with each other intellectually.
The only thing I don't understand is, why are you still using IE? Get Mozilla Firefox today!
What's the difference Dan?
Since the relative demise of Netscape as the last serious competitor to Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) three years ago, most of us simply take our Microsoft browser for granted--warts and all. Virtually every Web site is optimized for IE, and every copy of Microsoft Windows sold includes a version of IE. And with total market saturation come opportunists: criminal hackers who use Microsoft vulnerabilities to take control of your operating system, steal your identity, or spread spam. But out of the ashes of Netscape came the Mozilla Organization. Spun off from AOL, which purchased Netscape a few years ago, the Mozilla Organization has been quietly creating a brand-new Internet browser from the ground up--and sharing its code with anyone and everyone. The benefit of this new browser project is that unlike IE, this open-source code runs independently of your operating system, so a flaw in the browser software won't necessarily expose your entire computer.Another source of Internet vulnerabilities lies within ActiveX technology, tiny scripts that automatically download when you visit certain Web pages. In most cases, they're good, adding music or animation to a page. But in some cases, criminal hackers have tweaked the code to damage your computer. Microsoft recently added a prompt to IE so that you can accept or deny ActiveX scripts. Firefox doesn't use ActiveX technology, which means that a few Web sites might not appear as their designers intended (although we were hard-pressed to find a site that didn't work because of this during our testing of Firefox). While Mozilla offers a whole suite of secure, independent, open-source Internet tools, it recently streamlined its browser component and named it Firefox. Since last summer, we've been testing Firefox, and, frankly, we're sold: Firefox is just as fast and just as easy as Internet Explorer--and more importantly, it's much more secure. And feature by feature, Firefox either matches or surpasses IE.Internet Explorer 6 (with XP SP2) Firefox 1.0CNET rating 7.0 8.0 Editors' ChoicePop-up blocker Yes YesAble to selectively block pop-ups or view blocked pop-ups later Yes YesBuilt-in RSS reader No YesAble to view multiple pages within same window using a tabbed structure No YesThird-party plug-ins Yes--many Yes--someUses ActiveX technology Yes NoUser interface skins No YesOS required Windows XP SP2 and later only* All versions of Windows, Mac OS X, and several Linux distributions*Going forward, Microsoft will upgrade only the versions of Internet Explorer running on Windows XP SP2. The last standalone version of Internet Explorer 6 will work on versions of Windows up through Windows XP SP1.
Here's one article that pretty much sums up all the important differences. Firefox's increased security and tabbed browsing are two of my favorite features:http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3000_7-5561073-1.html
Web 2.0 is all hype and regurgitated ideas from 1999. AJAX is the only new concept worth anything since HTTP.
cheri lane when are you competing? you made a lot of talk of it a while back, but in new pics you actually loook worse. change your mind?
I don't get caught up in trends and hype, or the Firefox/OS cult of personality.I have, and use both:--IE starts faster and works for me.--FireFox is good for debugging my development, but loads slow.In the CNet article, there are only three "features" Firefox has over IE:--Able to view multiple pages within same window using a tabbed structure --Built-in RSS reader --User interface skins Yey. My life is over because I can't skin my IE, read any one of 10 zillion useless RSS feeds, or tab my pages.Something that'll curl your toes: CSS is lame. JavaScript is broken. Java is about to go buy-buy unless they drastically retool it. XML is the wrong tool in 99% of instances in which it's used. Web 2.0 is all hype and regurgitated ideas from 1999. AJAX is the only new concept worth anything since HTTP.
My biggest complaint about IE is, whenever I do happen to open it, I have to go in immediately afterwards and clean out all the spyware, etc.
I run IE, never had a problem other than some .css issues. The latest version even has tabs..don't be a tool and repeat what someone else has told you.
