Aight, roughly 1.5 months ago I strained my lower back pretty badly squatting I think. I'm pretty sure it was the squats because I realized I was leaning forward on my way up when I started getting into heavier weights and struggling. It was either that or SLDL's. Possibly leg press. So I ended up taking 5 weeks off before I went back in to let the thing rest and because I was loaded with school. So I did 3 days 2 weeks ago and it was still pretty sore so I took the rest of the week off for it and because I had 3 exams. So I'm back into last week and this week and my lower back is ridiculously sore. I do legs on Tuesday and the squats/sldl's seemed to aggravate it. It wasn't that bad on back day on Thursday but I didn't pull over 355 on deadlift just to test the back and it wasn't that bad, but I felt it later on in the workout with pulldowns but not like when I hurt it 2 months ago. It was incredibly sore the next few days but it went away until leg day today and it's pretty fucking sore again but my entire body is sore to boot from the layoff.
So I'm just wondering is my back just sore from not getting the work for 2 months and because my body has pressure on it most of the day? It doesn't bother me when I'm sitting in a chair or walking around, just when I lift and get up in the morning so I don't think it's a disc problem but a muscle strain. Anyone got any ideas?
