It's sad b/c he was such a good grappler.  Honestly, I though he got a gift decision in his last fight.  UFC probably won't renew his contract

I think Vera has the tools to beat Tim, but that height advantage causes so many problems.

I am so sick of seeing Sylvia as the heavyweight champ! I haven't seen anything good about his mma skills (cause he doesn't have any)! he is just tall and got a reach, he gets lucky shots and wins. he makes me laugh when i see him fight. Vera has got some great skills but so does Monson. Monson's height lost that fight. Vera is a exciting fighter to watch, hope to see him take out Sylvia! Sylvia is like that big kid in school that thinks he is the biggest badest athlete in the school because he is bigger than everybody! If I could get in the UFC, all I would want to do is fight Sylvia and break his long ass knee knockin legs! Monson should have kicked the shit out of those legs to get him on the ground!

I love the Pinoy, but I am not ready to anoint him quite, yet.  He has yet to beat decent competition.  Frank is nowhere the fighter he was.  If he beats Arlovski, I think he will need Aleks to come to the UFC.  He should be able to deal with Tim.

Personally I think Vera is tailor made to whip Tims ass cause he likes to brawl.  At some point Tim will lose focus and Brandon will easily take him down once he's tired and then it's good night for sure.
