i wash my hands around 10ish times / day..if i touch ANYTHING dusty or possibly dirty i have to wash my hands...

i think people get insulted when they see me doing it in the gym, i do it at least 5-6 times when i'm in there, they must think that i think they're dirty.

lol...i wash my hands when i leave the gym but i'm hardly thinking about sanatization when i'm training...well maybe you DO have a wee bito problem there mate...buuut..as i said..there r worse things!

hahahaha, you should see some of the looks i get when i'm talking to someone and i pull some sanitizer out of my pocket and use it, i gotta tell you that since i started doing this i feel a whole lot better generally, i'm convinced that most viruses are spread this way.

No, not weird. I use anti-bacterial alcohol hand gel stuff all the time throughout the day. Especially as work.....working with sweating people  and the hand gel comes out afterwards 

I get weird looks too, but it freaks me out to think how much bacteria and germs there are on the hands

No.  I've got a pump bottle of it in my car in one of the cup holders.

How about the people in the gym that put their hands on their faces?  They've been touching weights that probably have poop molecules on them and who knows what else

be careful with that stuff, it is said that over use makes the body (hands) unable to fight bacteria at all, best to use hot water and soap, or wipes. screw what poeple think, I'm sure your spouse loves you for it.

i never thought of that..good friggin point mate!

i like how ya think..which is why i simply refuse to take tylenol or anti biotics unless simply necessary...fever is the bidy's responce to lyce the little buggers in your body...fever is a good thing for the most part...when i'm sick i NEVER take a fever reducer...if it goes over 101.5 i'll drink cold water..or even take a cold shower.....tylenol is uaually last resort for me...
i truly believe in the saying " be a man and walk it off"..it actually works!

that's my point, exactly.  It's not good for you.  They have an advert on the telly at the moment for a little travel size anti bac hand spray.  Bet they sell lots.  You have to shake hands with people after all.


I went on a cruise with my mum two years ago.  they shut down the whole ship for some novo virus.  They put tape across the cabins which were affected.  They weren't allowed out for 10 days and the maids had to wear masks to go in and deliver their food...

The rest of us had to use the hand sanitizer as we arrived at the buffet or the dinner table, they by that time were paying people to squirt sanitizer at us.

I didn't get it.  I kept diving in the pool and went for chlorine instead... 



But they all got a free cruise and compensation.


Noone died and I was told that's rare.  Lots of people die on cruises.  They have a special freezer just for that purpose.  I hung around with the crew.
