yes but you cannot have the level of detail/striations that Ronnie displayed in 99 and be holding water.
it just doesn't work that way.
This is incorrect. Separations are mostly enhanced by losing fat, not subcutaneous water, and the capacity to show separations varies in different bodybuilders. What this means is that Ronnie could have incredible separations while still holding a significant amount of subcutaneous water.
Conversely, it is impossible to have a stony look an still be retaining water. When you have edema your muscles look bloated. My contention is that the stony look is a better indication of the amount of sub-cutaneous water because there are bodybuilders who display better separations than other bodybuilders even when their conditioning is off. Conversely, when a muscle looks dry, it usually is.
Ronnie was so detailed he looks like an anatomy chart:
But Dorian looked like an anatomy chart etched in stone! Again, Ronnie might have more separations overrall, but this is immaterial to evaluating the amount of subcutaneous water.
other than the lower back and abs, you really can't say Dorian has that same look.
Again with the lower back and abs shit. Says who? You.
hence, ronnie appears like he has no skin.
Hmmm...but granite statues don't have skin either!
dorian appears like he has skin but that he looks more statue like.
Most would say that supreme detail conveys dryness better than the statue type look.
No, it doesen't. There are bodybuilders who never display incredible separations even whn dehydrated to an inch of their lives. Hence, your argument is stupid. Separations are only enhanced up to a point by dehydration, and some bodybuilders with more subcutaneous water display more separations than others with less.
