Max Muscle???

Well, my good friend just opened a Max Muscle in my hood and to be honest, I've never heard of it until then.  Anyways, it looks like I will be getting my supps there (discount!!) and just wondering what, if anything, you guys have experience with?  They have a high-5 protein that looks decent, a pure isolate (im going to try today postwork) and a powder that I believe is malto and dext called Full Blown.........anyone with knowledge?  Feedback?

you in NorCal?  I've tried their Glutamine before but wasn't blown away or anything.  I only go there for their Tri-O-Plex bars if i'm in a pinch and couldn't get an order online in time.  The owner Jeff is a nice guy but thier stuff is way over priced.

The majority of MM owners carry the MM brand because it is required to comply with their franchise agreement.  MM is known for clothing and, IMHO, the supplements were (and continue to be) an afterthought.

The franchise owners that truly know the industry will carry a wide variety of 3rd party branded items.  There are some good guys out there, and there are some bad.  Corporate, on the other hand, is a train-wreck.
