NYT: Pentagon altered Iraq casualty figures on website

The New York Times reported today that the Pentagon has altered how nonfatal casualties are tallied on its website, thus resulting in lower casualty totals.

Remember that the PTSD suicides back home aren't counted. And of course our paid mercenaries don't get included in the total either.

Now that the insurgency [these are some death throes they're in!] has figured out how to shoot down our helicopters, maybe the Pentagon will decide that dying in the air doesn't technically count as dying "in Iraq".
