deloading week (cycling training)

Hey Guys
I'm thinking about doing a light weight week. I always trained  heavy.  I read that its a good idea to do a light weight week to  let your body rest up a bit... I was think  that I should do sets in the 25 rep range..

this is my fist time doing a light week/ deloading week. any  kind of input is great. what do you guys think?? is this need to keep growing??

It`s always a good idea to back off once in a while.

Just get in and enjoy the workouts,and go for a skintight pump.

I would less rest between sets and do 10-15 reps,possibly 20 for legs.

Using all machines for a week is a good option too.

It`s good for the joints also.........gives them a much needed rest after training hard and heavy for long periods.

or take a week or two off, works well too.

I don't think you should up the reps all that much actually. Just use slightly less weights for the same amount of reps, do that for two weeks.

After those two weeks, go heavy at it again.
