hahaha Tuff fanboys probably got a raging hardon when they saw Gonzaga beat Mirko.
Half of you clowns didn't know who Ganzaga was before this. He had only competed in 3 UFC fights prior. When people were talking UFC vs. PRIDE Gonzaga wasn't even on the list of "defining" UFC fighters. UFC vs. PRIDE meant Liddell getting beat by Rampage, Couture vs. Fedor, Orlavski vs. Mirko, Silva vs. Wanderlei...

We all know who would of won these fights.

The top fighters define the org, and Gonzaga was not considered a top UFC name until he knocked out Filipovic.

You could make the argument that the current UFC is the equal of PRIDE...maybe. But before Mirko went to UFC...before Gonzaga made a name for himself...PRIDE had the better talent hands down.

Every organization has its' share of great fighters..I like fighters for what they do in the cage/ring, not for who employs them..However,at one time a couple of years ago, Pride did have a considerable amount of better fighters than UFC did..

haven't I already covered this? Mirko is a great fighter, no doubt, but to claim he is #1 or #2 in the world is  .  Gonzaga was nobody, now he took the wind out of the Mirko sails and became someone. I never disrespected Mirko for losing, every fighter loses. I disrespect his fans who touted him as the next coming of god, claiming he was going to walk right through UFC to the championship. Now Mirko(pride) just got DESTROYED by Gonzaga(UFC), so Pride is still better, OK
