My reaction to the movie was mixed. Yes, overall it was probably the best Bond in years, but then again it is one of the few Bond movies to be based on an Ian Flemming novel, so it SHOULD have been the best Bond in years. They have the luxury of not really having to come up with an original story. It needs to be judged by a higher standard than most Bond films. And as good as it was it should have been a lot better. To many action sequences, and they were way too long. That first chase on the construction site went on FOREVER. And the movie was too long also. I will be more impressed if the next one is as good. I dont think there are any more Ian Flemming novels left to be adapted to movies.
