go back and read the reaction here on getbig right after the contest.  most agreed that he should have been top 2.

different judges, didn't make the connection, etc.    without the mustache and under his real name, not too many NPC judges would know who he was.  But once he got his pro card, word quickly spread that porn star Carl Hardwick was now an IFBB pro.

Please...T-bub is  not a judge...and Lee Thompson wasn't on the panel. Amazing how even the online voting, which is totally anonymous, had me winning the show with a 92% margin...

I saw his posing from the NY Pro on youtube, and he's got a certain thing about him when he poses. And his physique is awesome.

Gee, the "online voting" was at BB.com, "home of Bob Chick", with a big-ass pic of you right next to the "vote here" button.  Given that most visitors to that site are under 25 and incapable of thinking for themselves, who did you think they were gonna vote for?

why does a guy like Troy Alves get passed over by judges show after show?.....is Kai better then Troy?  Is Kai's win the signal that judges are changing what body type wins shows?  IMO Rockel should have won the Colorado...I think it was close but total package was Rockel IMO.  Yes, Kai was in shape and has some real strengths........but what do I know?  I'm not hatin, but the nose ring is lame, take it out for the show.....he looks like he's geared up to be an entertainer, not a champion.  He does have good legs (calves too) but overall not in the same class as Rockel, Darrem and Silvio.

first of all-----------Troy has a great physique and almost (I think should have) won the Ironman a few years back.  He was beaten by a pregnant gustavo that the judges rewarded because of his momentum at that point. Second, Kai won a show that had weaker competition then the Ironman-----he wasnt going up against a top 3 Mr. Olympian like Alves was.

You talk like Kai has won show after show and Alves is a constant tier 3 finisher, which is just nonsense.

What I and others here take issue with, is the blatant gayness and stripper moves he does during his routines. Humping the ground SHOULD NOT be part of a posing routine. Show some class. Now wonder bbing gets no respect, these guys feed the hate. I just laugh at what I see. There were guys not too long ago, who took pride in displaying their physiques. Now-a-days, you have these strippers going on stage and making a mockery of what was once an artform.

I couldn't agree more!  Preach on.  I didn't explain myself well enough starting this thread....but the above is what I was getting out.....what happened to the class?
