Milos Training Philosphy of intense giant sets???
« on: August 22, 2007, 08:50:37 AM »
Hello everyone,
     I'm just trying to make myself the best trainer in the world..with the hopes that one day i can stand with the best(milos,glass etc.) as a top trainer.I am always looking to broaden my horizons and learn as much new training phiosophy"s as possible..I have watched all the fit shows, as well as listened to the milos seminars on bb.com, and am very intrested in his phioloshy.I have a private training studio in cicny which keeps my schedule full, or else i would fly out to cali. and consult milos and learn as much as i could about it myself. I think his athletes are looking better and better everyday, and i have been trying his giant set shoulder wrkt, without aminos and the drink and am seeing results, so right now im sold.I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a site, or fill me in on more of milos's philosphy or your opinions on it. and please keep it professional i could care less about snake oil,where he placed at the o"s. or how big his arms are...no bashing looking for serious professional opnions or debates on how well his philosphy works....cuz right now im sold on it, and thinking hes top in the game unless im concived otherwise....thanks for all your time i appreciate it thanks....

I've read a ton about different training protocols, spent about 5 years in college where I didn't really trian but I used that time to read up on as many different training styles as I could.  I used some of them when I could to see how they worked for me.  Milos' training is totally different than what I had researched, most of what I looked at was what routines would work best for a natty BB and mostly what I found was that different forms of HIT seemed to work best, now this wasn't a broad based study, it was just me reading things and using common sense and a little trial and error.  I'm NOT saying milos is wrong, in fact I'm very interested in what he's doing.  He's basically overloading the muscle using extreme volume and he's also trying to hit various parts of each individual muscle by using alot of different angles, I know for instance that when doing chest he might have you do one set of inclines at one angle then later he'll have you do incline db movements with a slightly different angle.  The extreme volume is interesting and I think what he's talking about with his shakes is interesting, I know that Trooponin does kinda the same thing with the pre-during and post workout shakes but his are mostly whey and dextrose or a similar product.  Milos seems to have his shakes more broken down for what he believes is the exact mixture, so by forcing so much blood into the muscles while doing giant sets your actually saturating them with the nutrients he believes are going to get you the best results.  I know a couple of guys on here have worked with him and are getting good results so he knows what he's doing and it seems to work, I would say read up as much as you can on it and try it, what he's doing isn't exactly "magic" he's just looking at things from a logical perspective and applying what he thinks are the best ways to get from point "a" to point "b".
nasser=piece of shit
