What about Edwards-Obama?

Obama has the lead now, but is Edwards now the Dems' guy?

Andrea Mitchell spent a good 5 minutes trying to get Edwards to throw Obama under the bus and he wouldn't take the bait.

This chick isn't as sharp as she's pretending to be.

If the media climate that exists now, continues then yes I think they could win. The media has not even tried to dig into Obama, his policies, his lack of experience, his church, inconsistancies between his book and real life. Obama has tried to paint himself as a typical black kid who faced the same racial hardships that many normal black kids have. none of which is true. He tried to say that his time in Indonesia, he was well excepted, while in Hawaia, he faced the typical racism seen in many American schools. The opposite was true. This guy is trying to be paint himself as some Civil Rights warrior or a guy who understands the common Black man. None of this crap is true....none of its been dug into by the national media. The Conservative media has been too busy attacking Hil, and they're going to wake up to an idot Carter clone in the Whitehouse if they aren't careful.

As much as the media *loves* the Clintons (a reality America has just had to accept), I can't help but wonder why no one - other than Hillary - has gone after Obama.

I don't see a need for Obama to say anything about Civil Rights - I heard him talking about it yesterday and it didn't play well at all.

On one of the programs this morning mentioned Obama's daughter and her statements regarding the lack of Black support for Obama.  She said it's the fear of failure that prevents them from embracing him, but from where I stand, I saw a great majority of Black Americans who were in love with Bill Clinton.  I never understood that blind, undying support for him.

But make no mistake - Obama's people do not WANT the obligatory Black talking heads publicly supporting his campaign at all.

That's because Hillary had the real JFK (Jr) killed in '99.

I don't see why afro-americans would identify so much with him. He's half white, half african. He's not decendant from slaves. I saw in the newspaper too that his whole campaign team was white.

Plus Obama hasn't really established himself as the "black" candidate. Which is a smart move of course because that could turn whites/latinos against him.
Hilary was relying more on the woman vote, which kinda backfired (only with older women she still has really high %).

I'm not american, so i don't have as much information about the candidates though.
