Metal King
« on: January 04, 2008, 05:40:21 PM »
The new Metal King recently came out, and there's been some good feedback from it.

I currently use a Titan Super NXG, and it's been working fine.

Anyone got experience with the King, or have heard any reviews, compared with other suits out there, preferably single-plys?

Also contemplating giving the All Black Metal wraps an honest try, currently favoring the Inzers.

When people are willing to spend hunderds on a shirt, suit, etc. for working out in and competing.. what's 60-70 bucks for a pair of the top rated knee wraps. If you get your use out of them and they'll last you awhile, they're worth the investment..

Why not you get a pair and tell me what you think and then I'll decide if I want a pair.  ;D ;D

A guy on our team wears a king...says its real nice.  If youre interested in the METAL wraps, but cant afford them (I cant) try the convicts from APT.  I hear they are very similar.

I use the all black metal wraps. I like them. I used to use the titan wraps but the metals are better. They have more stretch so you get more wraps out of them but once they are stretched out they have very little give (if that makes any sense).

Makes sense to me, definitely.

IMO, the word on the All Blacks are that they can give you a lot, if you wrap hard as hell. And I like to think that I have that when I squat.

Thanks.

Cool, let us know how it works. I am using an original fabric v squater. I use the same suit for squat and sumo. I tried a Viking squater a month or so back. I think I am going to switch once I consistently hit 500+.

Little update: Tried the suit, obviously fitting a bit different than my previous suit.

I think I can make it work in a month or so though.

It's not as firm around the hips and waist as the Titan suits, but much better than the Viking in that department.
