I like them , have you been to one ?

I've been to 3 and they each were very charming and comfortable.

It's like visiting in a more family type atmosphere , as opposed to a hotel suite which is a typical type room with a view .

The 1st one I stayed @ which was lovely , had delicious food , homemade cooking , and the lady was a great cook . The place was serene and very pretty scenery to view instead of a place stuck by a highway.I went to the next 2 after and wasn't disappointed a bit.
I spent a little time scoping out the web first and found them that way.

Of course I was alone so I can't comment on what a couple would think of it , but IMHO they are a nice comfy getaway option.If she's anything like girls I've known she'll be a little happy to try a new thing .

Sounds like a nice weekend. The only thing I would say is that B&Bs are basically converted houses... so sound travels.  If it's romantic ask for the room far away from everything, like the attic room or equivalent... and also, you sometimes end up in a place where they ask you to put on slippers so as not to ruin the hardwood floors, and then you are invited to spend a few hours in the main room with people you find very, very weird and there's a harpist too, which is fine, except for the weird people.    Ask a lot of questions before you book.

Don't forget the 6:00 am wake up call that grandpa and grandma who own the "B&B", will do as they walk into your room with breakfast. Get a suite at a nice hotel instead squad.

Get a suite at a nice hotel instead squad.

...Squad....there is a brand new Four Seasons near you w/rooms at very reasonable rates.  You may want to check that out too!

Amazing how B&Bs differ depending on what part of the country you're in... but guess the Gram/Grampa, harpist, paper slippers experience can be universal.  This is a really nice Vermont B&B... all the rooms have names like Ms. Gloria Swanson, Malena's Tango Bedroom, Nicholas I Bedroom, etc... and there's libations and a harpist.
