Ever since I read this thread I've been waking up cursing myself out for living in NE and not being able to at least go to a driving range. I'm fiending for it now. This summer I intend to golf at least once a week. Hopefully twice.

Fucking 20 degrees here old timer. I like golf but not enough to stand around in the cold chipping onto a green. UConn actually has a nice green with 7 pins in it behind the baseball field that anyone can use. Maybe when it starts to break 40.

Is that the one with 2 floors and the ice rink/laser tag place right next to it on the river? If so, I'm at that place probably 3-4 nights a week during the summer. Love it!

Second floor sucks though. The mats are always soggy and swollen. Plus I get to make a fool of myself in front of everyone on the first floor.

Hahaha, I love doing that. I'm also a fan of using the tall tee on the bottom and getting right under the ball so it goes straight up into the ceiling and almost takes out the person hitting next to you.

My only solace is that when I'm on and my swing isn't its usual fucked up as it is now self, I'm able to clear the fence in the back. 

I'm pretty sure I played Great River with my old man and grandfather when I was younger. If it's the course I'm thinking of it whooped my ass real bad. Then again, up until recently, most of them did.

Personally I'm a big fan of the big high pull hook that clears the fence and lands on top of the skate ring

If you get a chance play Oxford Greens in Oxford.just as nice as Great River but about $50.00 cheaper

Where I live we haven't had a really bad snow storm in a couple of years.anything over a foot of snow is the best.the roads are completely empty no cars out no cops on the road.I just jump in my 4x4 and go barreling down main roads like fucking idiot
