I didn't think the knees GSP was doing were legal? I didn't think you were allowed to knee an opponent who is on the ground? I guess this rule just applies to the head?

Knees to the body but not the head of a downed opponent while also in that position are legal. You dont see it to often.

No. You don't see it too often. GSP used it to devastating effect. I predict we'll be seeing much more of it now.

Serra didn't even look like he cared either way to me, he knew he was going to lose. He should have never been on a main event and Starnes should never get another fight in the UFC again after his "performance".

gsp dominated still, do we really want to see fights stopped due to knees to the body? maybe he wasnt intelligently defending himself, but he wasnt anywhere close to get knocked out

Seriously, this is how i tought it would go. I was surprised that quite a few actually picked Serra.

It would not be a smart move from St-pierre to go up. Why should he go up, and shouldn't Silva come down in weight?
Smartest thing to do is dominate this division for a couple of years.
