I see him at the Meca from time to time when I workout.  It would be great to get him to post here and offer some tips to people, he'd be a great addition!

I'm not entirely convinced I like his techniques.  Seems like he does too much "weird" stuff.  Not as bad as one-legged squats on a swiss ball, but some of it does seem quite complex.
It hasn't helped...

With a beginner im sure he would emphasize the basics, however with a top IFBB pro the advanced techniques are used to bring out the finest details in an individuals physique

Why would Glass come on here and be trashed by guy's like SquadFather? That's the same reason some of the Pro's left. Not so much a question of their ego being shot down, just the consent harping about little stuff. Criticism, either deserved or not, over and over again. Glass is too smart to need that. Good Luck

Side Bar: SquadFathers picture is going to be on a milk carton, hoping to find out where he is and what happened to him.

Welcome to the boards

I worked with Charles in magazine matters back in the 90s and trained with him back in 1996 and I think he's excellent. You do have to be clear about your goals and make sure he pushes  you hard. I think he pushes men harder than women, but women can be pushed as hard as long as he knows your goals. Obviously, he knows the goals of a top fbb, but if you're a regular girl in good shape who wants more than she has, he'll push you as hard as you want if he knows you want to be in top, top shape.  I'd do my own diet though.  But he's good in the gym and glad to hear he's even branched out to incorporate more principles. I like an old dog who can learn new tricks. That makes him a wealth of information and a better choice for trainer than many in the Mecca.

Why would Glass come on here and be trashed by guy's like SquadFather?

Or by someone with a complex who feels compelled to take unnecessary shots as a regular part of posting. Stuff that have nothing to do with training, at those he's threatened by or who don't fit his circa 1940s mentality. vs. those he favors and kisses ass.

Why? Because it's getbig.. we welcome dispirate views and discourse, at least some of us.;)  Charles hangs in Venice won't be phased by this as some are.

Get Glass on here, we need good & positive peeps like him, especially with that highest level of experience. ;D Queen do your thing, share with us as well.

How familiar are you with his methods, and have you tried them before passing them off as "weird".

I’ve read Charles’ articles before, and I’m familiar with his stellar reputation.
Look at his clientele over the years.

Charles’ knowledge would prove invaluable to anyone from a beginner learning the basics to an advanced, veteran competitor on gear.

From reading his MD columns, I understand he does not like discussing the drug aspect of the sport (at least publicly), but honest and reasonable questions would likely be honored with an educated and respectful response.

If he confines his interaction to the more serious boards such as this one, he should experience little in the way of that horse shit.

The mods on this, the nutrition, and especially the natural training board run a pretty tight operation with little tolerance for trolling.

I've heard/read over the years that many industry names visit these boards anonymously.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Charles is one of them, and thus has a decent feel for the GB atmosphere.

As for openly posting here, there could be any number of reasons he would or wouldn't.
