A crowd enticed by the prospect of intense cage fighting and $1 beers were surprised to witness men ripping off each others clothes, and kissing – and some suspected the gag to be the work of professional prankster Sasha Baron Cohen.
The venue for the prank was at “Blue Collar Brawlin” at the Four States Fair Grounds in Little Rock, Arkansas. And on June 6, event organizers were notified of a character named “Straight Dave”, who would entice a member of the crowd to come into the ring.
But the 1600-plus crowd at the event was not expecting the two men to strip down to their underwear, and rub up against each other whilst kissing, and they quickly became enraged.
"It set the crowd off lobbing beers. They had beers in plastic cups. Those things can get some distance on them actually." Fort Smith police Sgt. Adam Holland said.
Later, the two men fled down a secret exit to safety.
Attendees were notified before the event that they could be filmed, and several hand-held and mounted cameras raised suspicions that it was the work of Sasha Baron Cohen, who is currently shooting his new film Bruno, which features a Gay Austrian TV reporter as its main character.
Cohen’s previous film, Borat, orchestrated similar pranks, most notably the nude gate-crashing of a convention at an up market hotel.
Bruno is set for release in 2009.
Yeah, that guy does do alot of work in little rock. I always told adam he would have endless material in bodybuilding but i hope he never shows up to the state show to pull some kind of crap like that hahahahahahha.
