BTLS is raving about these bad boys on the radio a lot. Anyone tried the different flavours?

Pretty high in fat but a real treat.

Yeah, the numbskulls over at Prosource--"the American MuscleTech", I call them--have made a very good product there, but I'm more concerned about sugar content than fat.

ive yet to see a protein bar that impressed me, or that i would buy an a consistant basis. the closest one is vpx zero impact. but they go OVERBOARD on the fat in that bar... even though they are "fat burning fats"..

i would love to see a good protein bar with  about 50 g protein with 30/30/30 of whey/egg white/casein, about 50 grams of carbs coming from low glycemic source like oats, and maybe 5 grams of epa/dha, 2.5 grams of gla, and 2.5 grams monounsaturated fats... mayb some added fiber (psyllium husk), and some added vitamins and minerals too..

Biotests' metabolic drive bars taste really good, and dont have too much bad crap in them. So id recommend them.

But for the most part id say 99% of protein bars are garbage. Your better off making them yourself at home.

I posted this before but will do it again.

1 cup of instant oats
1 cup of peanut butter
one cup of chocate protein poweder. I like lean dessert from BSN for this.
1/2 cup of honey
1/3 cup of wheat germ
1/4 to 1/2 cup water

mix with your hands.  I'd recomend using latx gloves.  massage it all together and roll into golf balls and place in the fridge.  These are the best protein snacks you can get

The pumpkin VPX ZI bar is my fave.

They recently changed the composition of these bars.  I have not had any of the new ones yet but looking at the changes they decreased the quality a bit IMO.

Labrada Nutrition Cookie Bars are pretty good. Three flavors, all not bad.  Pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds.

Taste wise, Supreme Protein bars and OhYeah! bars are the top tasting in my opinion.  VPX's Zero Impact bars are great from a nutritional standpoint.
