Thanks for the replies. I'm very tempted to try it but also paranoid I'm going to be wasting my time. I can't really imagine getting a good workout from a couple of sets per bodypart. K-1, had you done any other type of training before doing the whole body routine?
yes, pretty much started weight training when I was 15. I was a very active child (football, boxing, track..etc,etc)
went onto college for football and I still kickbox and box at 31 yrs later just for the passion.
I basically followed the typical 3-4 day workout body part split deal for years like most with a day of rest in between or just cardio on those days. I pretty much lived in the gym when I was actively into athletics, single no regrets life, protein shakes and other supplements..etc,etc
day one - chest and triceps
rest
day two - legs, calves,abs
rest
day three- shoulders, core
rest
day four - Back, Biceps
(you can do a 3 or 4 day version of this but you'll have back to back days doing 4 days so pick one) really simple caveman style 3-4sets of 10 of each exercise (abs and core do whatever you like) I cardio in HIIT fashion simulating boxing rounds 3minutes all out 1 minute rest (slow) then repeat on whatever machine is available. Great for stamina imo
after reality hit....I basically got more into my career, college, settle down...etc. there was a sacrifice and it was my gym time (I still spar on occasion) ...so that is why I tried to whole body thing...my body takes to it ok, but doing that workout 3 times a during the week wipes me out pretty good.
just like anything else...live and learn.
