Need help with Girl Issues

Ok guys, I need some help.

I have an issue with becoming too "attatched" to girls very quickly.
I am at Uni, and my course is comprised of 90% girls.
Here is my situation:
Currently i am working on a project, and earlier this week a girl approached me and explained that she was doing an almost identical project to me, and that we should help each other out. I had never seen the girl before, and we talked for awhile, kinda laughing and joking. Anyway, i saw her a couple more times this week, and we are getting along really well. She is kind of playful (came up behing me and pinched me) but not a "tease". She seems really innocent and nice.

Anyway, i last saw her yesterday, and i said i was glad i had found a new friend, and that she was nice.
I am not going to see her in any classes now for over a week. I do however have her  e mail adress. (no phone number yet  )

My problem is that although i only met her this week, i already can't get her out of my head and know that i will go insane if i don't see her again for awhile.

Should i send her an email asking to meet up? I am probably abit too shy for that. What should i do? I have had a few of these situations in the past and it always ends up with me obsessing over the girl for a few weeks and losing focus of everything else (work, gym etc)

Btw, the girl is more cute than "hot". She is kinda short 5"3 and kind of thick (not fat but not skinny). She has South Asian/Indian blood, so is fairly tanned with jet black hair and a really nice smile.

Am open to any comments, I don't blaim you if you couldnt be bothered reading this as it may sound pathetic

Bottom line is that we have hung out alot the past few days, and i honestly don;t find her attractive anymore.
I think she is getting really attatched to me  . I kind of went to end it completely. I was with her for about 5 hours today chattin,
and she has been calling and texting me alot. She is acting super clingyyyy

The awkward thing is, i want to make my intentions clear and distance myself from her, but we have to work on a project together for the next few months.

How can i kill this.

next time she calls you, tell her that you got another call from some girl you met at starbucks and you'll give her a call back.  Then forget, until you see her again.  Did you tell her you are single?
