however, when you're in the lead (and your lead is growing), you don't change strategies.  The dems own the white house and the congress.  Releasing pics of child rape and other torture info/war crimes would only lead to sympathy for the repubs among moderate voters, much the way moderates supported clinton during the BJ trial.

If repubs start winning seats in 2010 and look good for 2012, watch the dems start talking about releasing details on shady shit of the bush regime to remind voters what the alternative is.  however, with the lead, Obama and company can just keep that as a plan B.  Much the way Bush bought 100k acres down south as the plan B.
