If we know well the effect anti-diabetic of biguanides, we know less well their mechanism of action(share). The metformine decreases the glycemia but also"""""""""""""""" inhibits the lipolyse"""""""""""""""""""", reducing free fatty acids and decreasing the production of LDL. We know that the metformine improves the sensibility in the insulin of the muscle and the liver, decreases the hepatic production of glucose, via the néoglucogenèse and increases the peripheral use of the glucose. Effects on the receiver of the insulin were also reported. However the exact mechanism of the effect of the metformine remains dark. \rDans a recent article of J Clin Invest, authors bring solid arguments to think that the target of the effects of the metformine is the kinase protein
