I was reading the Book Of Revelation this morning, and it dawned on me how many people on this board are going to have a rude awakening when the Christ returns.  How lucky I am to be living in The Truth.

Ha ha, the truth...the truth is Revelation was not supposed to have been included in the bible at all, it was only at the insistence of Bishop Eusebius (yes the dude who also wrote a bunch of bullshit history books) that it was included.

That is the truth, another bullshit story passed off as the word of god

I have no idea, but its certainly not a book that was rejected by every major religious authority at the time, bar one...who so happened to be the most extreme and dogmatic of all the bishops around, as well as the guy who conveniantly happened to also have the best political connections. doesn't seem much godliness in that.

But...you are not CERTAIN that it isn't the word of God.

many book many interpretations no one is truly right or wrong its all in how it was perceived in those times.for those who believe in nothing hey its up to you but just think about it we live on a planet in the middle of this vast never ending universe how can we believe there is no higher power or that we are alone in this world...

we live with blinders on that sometimes people forget
look...the koran and bible and the torah are all technically sound books....

but the language leaves a LOT to the imagination...hense chaos....

i look for scientific fact...in that right now...the koran is winning..if someone argues this..i'll be forced to do a google search and post a link...the koran (quran actually)... at least it talks about the big bang...and it calls the moon a satellite...and says that all life came from water (life started in the oceans)..and th universe is billions of years old..

OK, I disagree on two grounds, all those books IMO are not "sound", unless you're defining what "sound" is differently than me?

The koran also has many silly scientific issues it presents as fact.

I don't know how any atheist can give some of the crazy shit in the "holy" books that respect!

I am one who will be living in Eternal Paradise here on earth Jehovah's Kingdom while your nostrils will be filled with The Lake of Fire.  So sorry.

Being a JW since 4yrs old I know they don't believe in hell. You are the worst JW I know. You spout your shit all over this board and I have caught you several times in lies and saying shit that just isn't true or stretched out of proportion. Why are you on this board..do you even lift?

Once again this Jehwit guy is spreading untruths about the witnesses.  Im gonna go on a little rant so bear with me.

Jehovahs witnesses do not teach or belive anyone will burn in firey torrment. They belive all who dont serve there god jehovah, by only there rules of course, will be destroyed at armagedon/harmagedon. They also do not belive in life after death, or a soul, go figure. They may die and be brought back, in paradise here on earth, with only jehovahs witnesses on it. That sounds a lot like life after death to me. ::) Kinda reminds me of another guy who had a similar idea. They teach only 144,000 will go to heaven to help god rule. If god were real he wouldnt need your help "brother". With all ive been through and seen i cant belive it took me this long to finaly see this garbage for what it is. Almost 30 years of my life was spent " in the truth".
