It has been reported that Mr. Stern died last Tuesday.
I had a few fine conversations with him and it was a true pleasure to have known him. Eternal rest grant unto him-may he rest in peace!

it's a shame i wonder how bill pearl is taking it, he was collabrating on a book with leo. also norman marks has passed on.

I think John Balik was good friends with Stern.

Mr. Stern's obituary has been published in today's San Diego Union-Tribune for those who wish to read it. There is also a guest book to sign if desired.

I know he is having a blast being reunited with his wife and friends.
