what is going on here. i am the only one the think wes won the decision.i realize he got tired and didn;t do much towards the end but come on he took the guy down 4 times. just seemed like a bad decision to me.

I disagree that he won, but I definetly had them going to a third round. I think Dana didn't want anyone dying on the set and called the match early. The fucking guy didn't look like he was going to get up and walk back to his corner after the second round.

I couldn't figure out how they had McSweeny winning that.  I thought it'd probably go to a tie-break, but it seemed like Wes had the first round in the bag.  Both fighters' cardio was embarrassing, though.

the smaller guy landed much more strikes. 1 round is debatable, but 2nd round goes to the smaller guy. Even if it goes the 3rd group, rampage's fighter got nothing left.

99% of the guys in the NFL would look like that in a fight.  Although, at the very least I though that fight deserved to go to a third round (not saying that Wes had anything left for a third), but he did take the first round.

I wonder who the judges were.  Wes had the takedowns and every UFC I've watched, takedowns steal the victory.  Both fighters sucked, and neither will make it in the UFC!

i agree both fighters are not up to par with whats in the ufc. i also agree that wes;s takedowns usually steal the fight. in my mind it did. even when he was put in the choke at the end of the round he escaped and ended the fight on the top position

Basically, McSweeney won because he was a little less tired.

That fight was an embarassment for the UFC. They show interview after interview in which these guys say they're gonna do this and that, then, the fight takes place, and, they're both exhausted after two minutes.

I don't know how james won both rounds since he took a beating in the first round.

Shivers had a takedown or two and   had a submission attempt in the first round. He was more active and on the offense in the first round  than james.

I can't understand why james would have such poor cardio since he's been in the game longer and should know how to train for it. He's got Greg jackson coaching him

take away the sub attempt and you had shivers looking REALLY bad doing nothing for 3 minutes by just laying there and basically doing nothing...

you can't give a guy a round for just laying on top and wondering what he should do next !

fight was terrible, but I know exactly how they feel gassed like that. The last place they should have let that happen was live in a fight. Wonder when the last time either of those guys even sparred live. They would have known then their cardio was shot.

They give guys a round all the time for a takedown and laying on top.  Look at every wrestler, before they develop standup, they take the fight to the ground, stay in guard and do a bit and gnp and win rounds.
