I don't know that I would make such huge changes if you are going to cycle calories. Perhaps something like 5,000/3,000/3,000/5,000/3,000/3,000/6,000 would make for a good weekly split but dropping from 6,000 for an extended period down to 2,500 for an extended period would destroy your energy levels and subsequently have a negative impact on training.
Most bodybuilders who I know of have another competitor help them with their diet so that they can tweak things and see how your body responds to each alteration. Do you have anyone there who can help you locally? That is going to be your best bet.
