So, the repubs are just as fucked up as the dems. I'm a fiscal consevative and a social libertarian, I think both parties are full of shit unfortuantly we have 2 choices, and the difference between the parties is getting smalled all the time.

THERE IS NO ONE on this site, at least those I've read who post here in the political section, believe the Republicans, the MODERN CURRENT, Rep party is the best thing since sliced bread. To the contrary. What we want is a PARTY THAT will fight for the people of this country instead of their own hides.

What we want is:

Lower taxes - Keep more of our money -
Immigration reform -Illegals to be deported, No amnesty-
A strong natoional defense - Hard on those who harbor terrorists -
Social issues - Keep it in your house -
Healthcare reform - No big gov't. Lower costs by reforming malpractice and allow for insurance to be shopped out of state. That's to start off with.
No Bailouts -  Let them fail for their decisions -
No ear marks, PORK - PUT THEM IN, WE VOTE YOU OUT!

I can go on... But this is not what the republican party is standing up for right now. And until they do, we could be stuck with the democratic debackle for another 4 years.

I think the GOP has repented of their sins, so to speak, and is standing up for the American people (at least, as far as oppposition to ObamaCare and wanting Washington to focus on JOBS are concerned).

As I told another poster, if he keeps deluding himself to thinking that the Dems have a lock on DC, he could be in for a rude awakening in a matter of months. Keep the Kleenex on standby.

But don't take my word for it. Some folks on the left have the same sentiment.
