I think the rest of the world chodling American balls speaks volumes on their rationale. I mean if Americans are stupid, how retarded are the nations that follow our ever move? Really? 
Truth is they don't follow america or its agenda at all....it is actually the other way around. Other nations realize that americans can be separated from their money really quick so they don't mind you as tourist, they sell you their trinkets and dodads, they coddle to you to make you feel wanted or desired... But now they have wised up and realize that americans are more problematic than they are worth. The consensus around the world is that they don't need america any more and as you can see from the political maneuvering and posturing by countries, that their attitude of being friendly, extending hands, being warm and welcoming is running VERY THIN. Most European nations can not stand america or americans anymore, do I need to say what the Middle East countries think of you?, China/Korea/Japan want you out of their nations and have positioned themselves around the world in other nations and continents so that when they cut america totally off they will still have a foundation onto which they can conduct business ergo Africa, South America, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Middle East etc etc. Right now only you americans are basking in your own created sunshine thinking everything is A-OK. But truth is the dam is about to burst economically, politically, socially and religiously. It will be like america engaging in a war...except there will be no outside enemy...it will all be internal. Other nations will look over and say look at the americans...savages that they are. They have destroyed their country and many others....and now they are destroying themselves by way of civil, racially, political, religious infighting...
