Where the hell do these clowns think bankers get their money from?  It's like everytime I hear people talking about taxing businesses.

Thats some comial shit right there. They always claim the tax is going to be used for this or for that, but no government leaves any money sitting their doing what it was intended for. Here in IL we have the lottery, one of the big points was that the money besides pay outs..... would go to fund the schools. Well they just couldn't leave all that money alone. They set it up so that what ever money was put in via the lottery, the same amount could be taken out of the education budget and spent on other things. Same for the toll roads that were only going to be in place for 20 years ( 50 years ago) the roads in this state suck ass, where is all that toll money going?

Kazan, I didn't know you resided in IL as well? I was just about to post the Lottery Bullshit, Tollway leasing, Chicago Parking Meter Leasing and the *almost* leasing of Midway Airfield.

They def. swindled everyone with the Lottery. No matter how much was put in by people buying tickets, only a certain pre-set amount would go to education and the rest would go to...well, more "worthy" causes. It doesn't matter now because the state sold of the lottery quite some time ago.

It's all lies unless the money collected goes into a specific fund that can only be spent on specific things. If it goes into a general fund than fucking forget about it. The money is already gone.

Exactly.  The money is always squandered, wasted, and used to pay off bribes, deals, and hire politically connected relatives of pols. 

We need to stop the spending and the taxing so these criminals never get to touch the money to begin with.
