ARMY, PIP, FLEX,
I had the same word reading problem while watching that trailer on a huge IMax screen and while ithe scenes were flashing by it looked familiar ... and when I got half way through it, I began to have deja'vu and finally realized that I had seen a different version of all this before.
Different but somewhat more dramatic and stark than the original.
A lot of thought and discussions go into the making of these 'trailers' and I have a hunch that my experience was exactly what they were looking for.
I also think that they have made a special effort to satisfy all "..... Dragon Tattoo" fans and I think that they are going to be sucessfully satisfying the original movie fans, the readers of the book, and also all the new-comers who will be going to see it.
There are a lot of psychological undertones going on here.
But I also would have liked to see the original star take the lead role in this new version.
It's also somewhat interesting to realize that a director has the opportunity to fix it up in an effort to make it even better than the original version. I hope he is successful in doing so, but the original was hard to beat no matter who undertakes to do so.
