Would glucophage be good to use in the off-season ?
I feel I get less pumped as the off-season go on, even with slin.

since glucophase increase insulin sensivity, do any of you guys use it ?

I'd like to keep the pomp of a rebound all year long if that's possible.

its been a long time since i studied glucophage but if i recall correctly it doesnt do anything for "insulin sensitivity", all it really does is slow down the digestion of carbs making it easier on our body to store them.

same thing, people always say they increase insulin sensitivity, and practically speaking i guess you could say they do, but not technically. the effects are about the same but physiologically its quite different.

I prefer taking insuline BEFORE the workout, makes a world of difference from taking it after the workout IMO

I tried both many times

I have to go to work but I'll get back at you in the morning (no homo  ;D)

Guys,I have been a medic for a long time and I can not stress how dangerous this stuff is. I can think of two instances off the top of my head that would hopefully change your mind about messing around with your insulin levels. One was a body builder shooting insulin, probably in what he thought was a safe manner. The other was a pill head that stole a family members meds. He thought he was taking a narcotic but what he took was Glucophage. Remember, your brain uses something like 30 to 40 % of your blood glucose. And when you take these Meds  you run the risk of depleting your levels very quickly. Even with rapid treatment and medications designed to increase their blood sugar, the meds these guys took worked too well and they are both vegetables now. Both very young and both with zero chance of improvement.

I understand what you mean here, but damn, when you take your insulin and you eat your carbs how the fuck can something go wrong ?

Blood sugar is in no way an exact science. I get at least 1 patient a week. Who tests their blood glucose at least once daily and takes the medications in the manner prescribed. But the body is complex and other factors play a role in the amount and speed in which our bodies consume sugars. Things like a viral infection or stress all play roles in how you are going to burn up your glucose stores.
