I've stayed at The Luxor (twice) and Planet Hollywood - both are excellent althought Planet Hollywood probably shades it because of it's location on The Strip.

The Venetian, The Bellagio... I've never stayed at the Aria, but it looks cool from the outside.

No One. I've stayed in both and each is somewhat similar ..... no gambling.

Of the two you prefer, I'd suggest Vdara due to its location on the Strip and within CityCenter where there are many more options for dining and seeing 'stuff" without the need to walk long distances or hop in expensive taxis.

But don't be too surprised to discover that you're the only guest in the Vdara  when you arrive.

Make sure to visit the Cosmo while there and try to find the secret pizza counter if you have nothing else to do.

ahahahahaha all this coming from a guy whos idea of a big trip is waking up and shovelling the pig manure off the living room floor, walking to his uncles house to borrow the family donkey and making the day long trip into the nearest village to buy potatoes and cabbage.
