T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint Recording our Conversations???
« on: December 03, 2011, 02:58:06 PM »
First the news broke that Android applications were snooping on users and sending the snooped information to a third party called Carrier IQ. Now in a fit of honesty, three major phone manufacturers have admitted to using the not so honest applications.........http://anabolicscene.blogspot.com/2011/12/t-mobile-at-sprint-recording-our.html

To me it had been clear for quite some time that if necessary, "they" can see exactly what you've been doing and where. Whether content is stored remotely or data sent from your (smart)phone to a third party is irrelevant to me. It is what it is and there's not much we can do about it.

Download CarrierIQ detector on the Android market and it will let you know if it's on your phone , getting off is another challenge

my Samsung doesn't have it or neither does my g/f's HTC
