Could have been the "Little Richard" of bodybuilding and I say that sans tongue in cheek as I am a fan of Little Richard's music and back in the day his coif was cool beyond compare.

As for what became of "Ron ", perhaps he got a life?  On the other hand, "Ronnie" sold his soul to the needle and is now paying the price with deteriorating health or so it would seem given his obvious slide into flabby mediocrity.
