Answer the question.

Obama specifically promised that if we passed his program , which we did, UE would be at sub 6%.   how did that work out?
Obama didn’t say that. Rather, his Council of Economic Advisers predicted that the stimulus would hold it to that level. Their report included heavy disclaimers that the projections had "significant margins of error" and a high degree of uncertainty due to a recession that is "unusual both in its fundamental causes and its severity."

Whatever.   You refuse to hold obama to the same standard you want to hold mittens for unknown reasons.

Oh I hold them both to the same standard.  Mittens, when governor of Massachusetts,  was not bad at all.  In fact, he was way more liberal than many currently sitting Democrats in Congress.  That Mitt Romney is not such a bad and honest guy.

The Mitt Romney that he isn`t and doesn`t want to be and the one that the Republican party expects him to be are at complete odds.   The true Mitt Romney is a liberal, the fake Mitt Romney is a machination trying to get votes.

I don`t like that uncertainty.  Especially since he has decided to appeal to the Republicans with lies and myths that work well as they are pretty stupid.  He knows this, and I hate that he resorted to that.

I can agree with this on  many levels... Just because you are a member of a party and the party decides to have some arbitrary policy doesn't change who you are.

At least Obama is honest about what he is.

Mitt is lying on EVERY level it seems.

I'd rather have the 2000 McCain running.

I suggest reading "The Paradoxes of the American Presidency" (Cronin, Genovese) to help better understand that what it takes to become president doesn't necessarily equate to what it takes to BE president.
