Switching long esters every 4 weeks
« on: December 01, 2013, 12:59:08 AM »
Wondering what people's thoughts were on this. I've been doing a bit of reading and come to a few conclusions but I wanted a full discussion on this, perhaps there are people that have tried it.

I train for strength primarily and the training lends itself to 4 week blocks of high androgens followed by high anabolics.
Now the biggest thing I hear is that long esters take a while for levels to build up and the product start working.

But having looked a few things up, I don't think the body knows what product is in the system. If you're on 750mg of test a week and you've built up levels, swapping it out for say 600mg of nandrolone decanoate for example- the deca will take a few weeks for levels to build up as the test falls and blood levels will stay pretty stable (when you look at pure MGs of AAS in the body- which should be what counts).

The androgen receptors will still be stimulated. It's not as if you have no test and you need to wait for the deca to "start working" because blood levels are already high and the androgen receptors are still being activated. I'll be trying this in the new year for sure but wanted to hear what other people thought first. I hope I explained this well, I am not very good at articulating my points

I didn't watch the videos, but i rotate compounds every 6-8 weeks while keeping Test as the base.

Something like:

Weeks 1-6: 300mg Test / 600mg Deca
Weeks 7-12: 300mg Test / 600mg Eq
Weeks 13-18: 400mg Test / 400mg Tren E

Had good results doing this the past few years, but i don't use heavy doses anymore.  Sometimes i'll change the Test ester or bump the Test up while adding an oral.  I haven't noticed much from a strength point of view, but i have noticed some good gains in muscle.

Thanks guys, glad to know this would work
I was thinking something like:

500mg test
125 test / 400 deca

and alternating back and forth

if all that mattered was androgen receptor saturation, methyltrienolone and methylstenbolone would be the end-all, be-all of steroid stacks due to the affinity to androgen receptors.

I understand that logic but it wasn't really what I was going at.
Also, I need some other help. Maybe this one you can help more with.

Before I was on just 500mg of test a week. I added in tren 2 weeks ago at 260mg a week for a deadlift only meet I have on the 13th December.
This week, I am VERY lethargic. It seems like too much too soon. I also bumped up my test to a gram (0.6mg of testosterone sustanon blend 250 a day) and added in some orals. Lots of orals as I am 2 weeks out.
I'll be cutting this down to 250mg of test a week after the meet as I really can't deal with these dosages. But any tips to keep me going would be great. I feel kinda weak in the legs and very tired indeed.

I am going to increase my calories significantly as I was also dieting down. But I am well within my weight class and don't want to cut weight as the weigh in is only 2 hours prior to the competition. So any weight gain in 2 weeks isn't too much of an issue as a simply sodium and water load will deal with that! I am just fed up of feeling tired and shit to be honest. I don't know how you can deal with high dosages. 760mg + orals (1g total) has me tired as fuck and I just bumped that up another half gram. I'm even considering dropping the trenbolone to be honest but don't know if I am just being little bitch mode or not. Hard to tell
