Yes, his heart must have had to work double to keep the blood flowing.

He probably should have taken nutritional advice from Johnny Falcon.

LOL, how long ago was he in good shape, 10-15 years? (no pun, just honest).

Strong men should keep their body fat under control, lets say <20%

PIP

He was the one guy who was able to rival Zydrunas Savickas in the overhead press. Was MAD strong. Just insane that he just died. He was so new to the sport of strongman and made such a major mark. TRAGIC.

What a shame. Died in his sleep. I wonder if he had sleep apnea.

Then you wont be as strong as your competitors. Mariusz pulled it off because wsm had lots of speed/agility components. In IFSA events, where more strength was needed you see the heavy guys winning. Also, a guy like poundstone is probably aroubd 10%, but I guarantee you being that heavy is pushing your body.

Strong and tall dude, probably heavy user and a weak heart. I'd never heard of him, but some can get away with such a lifestyle, and he didn't.

It would be interesting when they measure the body fat rates from all competitors, to see if there is a clear correlation with their end scores.
One thing is for sure, there is a strong correlation between this rate and someone's life span.
