What is a good site for buying protein powder?
« on: December 01, 2013, 07:14:11 AM »
I haven't bought protein powder in probably 3 or 4 years but I don't have time for breakfast in the morning right now so I wanted to start making smoothies and figured I would try adding some rice protein powder to them.

Used to use True Protein so I went there and saw it has become True Nutrition. That's fine.

Put in an order for 10 pounds of rice protein powder, which totaled about $66 with the 5% discount. That's fine.

Went through checkout and stopped at shipping costs of roughly $37, nearly 50% of the total cost of the order. This seems a little ridiculous.

What are the good sites nowadays for protein powders that don't gouge you on shipping costs?

No.
Why not?  Its more beneficial and you can find a large number of them at any store. Why waste time with fart powders?  Its not like its going to help you or change your current look in any way.  What is the rationale and motivation behind your question?  Do you actually think you will start to look any different?

I have Amazon Prime, so for most things, shipping is free. The prices are pretty good too. I have also had good luck with DP Nutrition.

I don't like cereal and I'm hungry 60 minutes after eating it.

I'm not interested in protein "benefiting" my current look (hence why I haven't used it in years). I'm interested in it holding me over between consuming it at 8 AM and eating lunch at 2 PM. If I eat cereal I'm hungry by 9 AM, which isn't convenient for me.

I'm also not interested in your "Eat McDonald's, it's cool" theory, either.

Ahh, I have prime, too. Didn't even think to use it for supplements. Will check it out.

HAHAHA so you are thinking Protein Powder, something that is digested rather quickly with no satiety really (due to lack of fat and water content) and using it to "hold you over".

You are a giant moron.  Learn how to cook or go get some Egg McMuffins.  Protein Powder is not going to do damn thing for you or for your hunger.

Hope this helps.

Protein powder mixed with fruits, peanut butter, some coconut oil and various other ingredients. Worked for me back when I used to do it.

I'm not interested in taking advice from someone who has spent the last 6 years skirting around posting pics of the progress he has supposedly made on his "calorie is a calorie" diet.

Tell you what, you post a current pic of how well your diet has worked and I'll eat crow.

You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?

I don`t have a diet.  I just eat whatever I want.  Hope this helps. I look the same as I always do.  You are asking too much from me so I won`t honor your request.

Have you EVER posted a single picture?

Of course you do. And I have. Some much less flattering than others.

Funny how you got so defensive so quick.

Anyway, your posts are boring and my question got answered.
