Harry Greb was nobody's chump, maybe the best ever,

Absolutely worthy of a mention. I have spoken very highly of him before on this website, and yet almost nobody knew who he was.

these old school guys like marciano and harry greb all fought bums. Guys trained like shit back then and didn't cutt wait to well. very cheap way to win fights. that was a diffrent era when everything was a fair fight butnei

You seem to be insinuating Greb and Marciano were bums then- ?  Marciano didn't train hard ? You don't know boxing too well friend if that is your opinion of the Rock and Greb. NOBODY was in better condition than the Rock- he took guys to the later rounds as was as good in the 13th as he was in the 1st, darn animal he was.

Ali said after doing the sparring for the computer fight that Marciano was better than Frazier and may have beaten him (Ali)

Styles make fights, gotta keep that in mind. Marciano was a rough fight for Ali-( according to Ali) , but  how would he have fared against Foreman- ?  it doesn't look good for the Rock here based on styles

Holmes is another underrated fighter, every bit as good as Ali in my opinion, he beats all the guys Ali beat except for possibly Foreman, Ali had a chin and heart like no other fighter, gotta give him that

rare fight John Clease aka Basil Fawlty vs Mike Tyson

LOL you beat me to it. I love this fight. Prime Tyson was so fucking awesome to watch. I love Mike huge fan on and off the ring. I saw this interview the other day and it really me sad that people disrespect him. I feel for the guy. He deserves respect and happiness.

X2 he really is a humble guy and just had to fight to live. His love for pigeons shows this they could not hurt him but he could.

Tyson is so honest and human it is easy to identify with him. That interview was raw and I hope he doesn't say 'fuck it' and give up.

Greb was a small man that fought everyone there was to fight regardless of their size, and had a record that whilst incredible, probably should have been a few fights better in his favour. He didnt have the knowledge or technological advancements that we now take for granted, just 2 fists and a chin of reinforced steel. And he was also blind in one eye.

Irrespective of his era, he deserves a mention and im sure anyone with a sound boxing knowledge would agree.

Actually Marciano was a work out maniac. He was known for always running, walking, and training in the gym.  I read his biography that recently came out. He did fight many lower grade opponents early on but he didn't avoid anyone as his career went on. He did fight some of the best available guys of the time. True, when he fought the Brown Bomber it was past his time.

Any list has to include Ray Robinson, Greb, Monzon, Duran, Henry Armstrong, Pep.

Ricardo Lopez was 50-0-1 against the best fighters in his division. Nothing else needs to be said about Ricardo Lopez.

Guys like Greb may not have trained too hard but he fought once a week! He had close to 300 fights if I remember correctly.

Marciano trained like a man possessed. Between fights he would balloon up around 230-240 and he was a short man. He trained hard to get down to 180-190 for his fights. He was known for his stamina and condition. Almost everybody he fought was bigger than him and he would wear them out.

Yes. He is such a fun loving individual. Do you know about the numerous rapes and assaults that were covered up while he was in his teens because he was a high profile prospect? I also liked Mike until I did my homework and realized he was another animal used in the public eye. Don't be fooled by TV Alex.
