I don't mind the little kids

but we get 16 year olds with just a mask on wanting money

they tried to intimidate my mrs one year

I knew where they lived and spoke to their parents

Yeah, the older kids just use it as an excuse to act like dicks and even steal stuff.

Never dealt with kids looking for money. doesn't happen where I live but we had two Halloweens in a row cancelled in a row because of Hurricanes and an early snow.
last year lots of kids were out and expect the dame this year.

If there too old for sweets there too old to be going round... On a side note, seen some sexy groups of girls going out drinking dressed as sexy cats and devils etc

Was never a big thing when I was younger, a costume usually entailed a bin bag with head and arm holes cut in it, a cardboard witches hat and a hollowed out turnip at best

Too much murrican tv shows... Same goes for decorating outside if your house for crimbo or kids having proms at school.. We didn't even have a christmass disco in the school hall never mind a prom , with ££££'s spent on limos and dresses etc

x2 on the Bin bag and turnip, great times as a laddie with all my mates in one of the back yards carving out a turnip and eating it as you go and it always ended up looking like shit,
Can't remember when the trick or treat and giving sweets started, people always have a few pence or whatever.
Still remember the first ever pizza we all had from the local pizza place from money we collected halloweenin

I'm not a British citizen but If I may, I'd like to comment.   I've never lived in a town that so enthusiastically celebrates Halloween as the one I live in now.  I counted the kids and the total number was over three hundred.  It was cold and rainy this Halloween and as a consequence the number of tricker treaters was down from last year by about a hundred.  Only had one repeat who tried to get another helping of candy. It was the lone black kid in the neighborhood.

hahah, well my wife and I like to keep count because the first year we moved in we didn't believe our neighbors claims of astronomically high numbers of tricker treaters.  Subsequently we didn't have enough candy.

I hand out candy cocks, and ask their mummies to suck them provacatively whilst I 'American Pie' my vagina-shaped pumpkin whilst wearing a nothing but a maniacal, sweaty grin.

Nobody knocked this year for some reason.
