I personally would not have punched her in the face like that, I would prefer a slid body shot, a right low hook under ribs.

one of my old girlfriends actually stabbed me in the calf,it was a decent size cut but luckily it didnt need stitches. anyway the neighbors called the cops and when the cops show up they see blood on my shirt and thought it was her blood and told me freeze at gunpoint and told me to get up against car,when they finally realized i was the one who was cut and she did it they right away changed their tune.they where like ok cant we all just go our seperate ways and cool off.cops are fucking biased as hell when women hit guys but god forbid we even breath on the broads the wrong way we are in the back of the patrol car so fast its unreal

Back in the day, cops had a lot of leeway when it came to dealing with domestic violence. Seperating for the night was a common "solution" and there was/is a double standard when it comes to the female aggressor vs male. Some of that has been addressed with changes in the law requiring the officers to make an arrest if there is complaint of pain or visible injury. To a certain extent, it tried to fix one issue, and created another. Cops are liable if they don't make an arrest and the violence continues later. So they tend to make an arrest at every call. However there are ocassions when someone acts out of character, is pushed to the limit and may slap their spouse. They have never done it before, probably never do it again but they go to jail for the night, a protective order against them is sought, the state takes up the charges and takes the decision out of the other spouses hands. Someone loses a job, debt stacks up, attorneys get involved and a nightmare is created..
