it was close, but usually in fights that close the champ retains his title, in this fight that didn't happen, personally I thought he won 3 rounds to 2, the takedowns were the difference, but they're not supported by enough control time IMO to win round 2, round 3 and 4 DP won, I gave Strickland 1 2 and 5 but 2 was very close and no doubt where it could have been lost.

Judges give bad decisions all the time, but I am not too sure about this one. I wouldn't be surprised if Strickland's comments during his media events forced some of the judges' hands.

I'm with Strickland on the vast majority of things he says, but I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be told these judges to stick to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) agenda. That, plus his comments against Trudeau might have also had something to do with it.
