up til saturday rousy had no clue what it felt like to get the shit kikked out of her badly. she took more of a beating than she dished out her entire career. she never knew what it was like entering the ring with the thought of leaving defeated and in huge pain. now she will not be able to enter the ring without thinking about it. her pre fight psychology has been permanently altered , and with it her entire game plan with it.

Yeah, you are spot on with this. Remains to be seen but she'll never be the same again and it'll be interesting to see if she wants an immediate rematch.

it's textbook how fighters (any sport) take a bad beating after a long winning streak and immediately lose the next fight. it's a powerful but dangerous feeling thinking you cannot be beat!! but it's more dangerous having your subconscious screaming don't get beat again. you second guess every move, and even if it slows you down a nanosecond, that is enough to not be the same fighter.
